Categorized as a documentarian, Remy's earlier work primarily focuses on sociological questions, while her later work is deeply embed with symbolism.

While earning her Bachelors of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts, Remy created the series, "No Place like Home"  which aims at studying the interactions between the human and animal worlds in suburban areas. It was during the time that she also created "Staubitz" which is set in the oldest operating butcher shop in NYC. This series is deeply personal to the artist. The series serves as an exploration of her relationship with her father, the third owner of the butcher shop.  This work has been featured in several group shows during and after her college career.
